Association of cinematographers of Turkic World has been established.

The Declaration of Goodwill on the creation was signed in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Filmmakers of the Turkic world gathered in Tashkent to create the association of filmmakers of the Turkic world.

The meeting was attended by President of the Azerbaijan Film Agency Orhan Fikretoglu, President of Kazakhfilm NC Azamat Satybaldy, Director General of the Cinema Department at the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Akzholtoi Bekbolatov, Chairman of the Cinematography Agency at the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director General of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Republic Erkin Yilmaz and the Special representative of the Secretary General TURKSOY Sultan Raeva and the head of the media Department TURKSOY Salim Ezer.

At the 40th meeting of TURKSOY, goals such as supporting joint production in the Turkic world, creating mechanisms necessary for the Turkish film industry, and enriching joint projects currently being implemented were identified. Thanks to TURKSOY, the Association of Directors of the Turkic World was established.

The Association will carry out tasks such as supporting the Turkish film industry, producing films reflecting its rich cultural heritage and encouraging fraternity, as well as ensuring the transfer of knowledge and experience.

It was decided to instruct Firdevs Abdukhalikov, Chairman of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, to carry out preparations for the 1st meeting of the General Assembly of the Turkish World Film Directors Association and ensure coordination between the parties.
